Totally Wicked Hilton high 18mg
I recieved my Hilton in the mail this morning, next day as always, can't say fairer than that, i didn't recieve the new boxed bottle so i can't make any comments on that but it was very well packaged in bubble wrap.
I ordered the 18mg for a change and to see wether it still had a good throat hit (i normally buy 36mg) and i used two different e-cigs, the EVO and the DSE901, i picked these as they seem to be the most popular models people are buying these days (don't have a penstyle or i would have included it)
I also used a new atomizer for each e-cig so as not to get any cross over contamination from previously used flavours, and i cleansed my pallet with water, i have seen so many people use pepsi or cola and wondered to myself how can you taste anything but these soft drinks? it may seem over fussy but i think it makes all the difference.
The smell of the bottle when i opened it was quite pleasant, not overly harsh and direct like the french pipe but subtle, you can smell a tobacco smell but it's not overpowering, liquid when held to a bright light was completely clear with no impurities at all, if anyone receives a cloudy liquid or liquid with particles floating about in it please don't vape it, it should and has to be completely free of all this.
The liquid itself was quite thin but not so thin that it runs out the dropper by itself, but good for dripping and topping off carts, i used it in the 901 first and i vaped it for a good hour so i would burn off the factory primer on the atomizer before i made any judgement on it, i was impressed by the vapour production on this one and the smooth throat hit it delivered, smooth as a baby's bum this one and could definitely be used as an all day vaper, the taste is not of a strong cigarette but of a milder one, silk cut perhaps but with a fuller smoother taste, it is very close to a analog cig taste in my opinion with a slight wood taste in the background, very pleasant indeed, i dripped it with the 901 next and as was expected flavour and vapour did intensify, but it was still very pleasant and not overpowering.
Next was the EVO and i wasn't surprised at a more intense experience, vapour was denser i think but volume wise i would say the 901 just edged it, throat hit was a different story, i would say throat hit increased by maybe 40% but then again this is the big strength of the EVO, and i think it's down to the denser vapour it seems to produce, flavour was increased as well but still remained very pleasant, very happy with the purchase of this one.
To sum up i would say this is a really smooth subtle vape, the flavour is not overpowering by any means but it is there, a good sign for an all day vape in my opinion as the stronger flavours get a bit sickly for me after a while, if you want a smoother milder vape i would use the 901, if you want a bit more punch from the same juice then the EVO takes it in its stride here.
