I created a little table a while ago with a list of all of the LorAnn Flavourings colour-coded as to their usefulness for vaping (green for best, red for worst and best not used at all) Now that we have the ability to attach things to our posts, I thought it might prove useful to other DIYers out there. (Although it did take a bit of work to turn it into an 'image'..... any chance of including .pdf files - or .doc, etc. in the list of acceptable uploads?) Anyway, here it is. Hope some of you find it helpful

Thanks for that Angela, one problem I have is that I cannot tell the difference in colour between the two greens, and as I have most Loranne flavourings now, I would love to see which ones you think could contain Diacetyl.
Sorry Angela, I have an eye problem and as such I need things to be over the top clear...lol

Hi Cat
Sorry you can't distinguish between the colours. The only ones I have 'highlighted' as possibly having the problem you mention are those referring to 'butter'.
I would stress that I have no information whatsoever to suggest that these flavours actually do contain diacetyl, it's just that I know that 'butter' flavouring often comes from diacetyl.

Dark Green = Good = 1, 4, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, 16, 17, 18, 22, 24, 25, 27, 28, 32, 36, 37, 38, 39, 44, 46, 48, 50.
Olive Green = Good in theory, but may contain diacetyl = 13, 14, 15.

I can't take any of the credit (other than clarifying the different greens) Angela looked a little like this by the time she'd finished (only not quite as red & without the beard & horns)

Thanks Angela and Sludge, that was most helpful.
And well done for putting all that hard work into it, it really is going to be very useful indeed.

Glad to be of help! I found that I was continually having to look things up to check as I couldn't remember from one minute to the next whether x or y was OK, so I made the table up for my own use, so I may as well share

Hi ~K~
I dont know these flavours Im afraid, so I cannot be much help. However, I note you state the following:- 'the reg glycerin, butter, and vanilla'. This leads me to think that these flavours come ready mixed in glycerin, is that the case? You see reg glycerin, I take to mean, regular glycerin, in which case it has no flavour.
The Lorann flavours are highly concentrated, water based, and do not come with glycerin, instead you add a few drops to your mix. The bottles are only 3.7ml and would, although strengths vary, would be enough to flavour a 30 ml bottle of TW flavourless.
I personally make up a mix of 50/50 basing it on 2ml of flavourless e juice to 2ml of Glycerin/distilled water, and to that I add around 3 drops of flavouring, depending on how strong the flavour is.
Hope this helps a bit.

U made me go look at it again and the Vanilla! They do not fully list all the ingredients. They say artificial flavors in ingrdients but list what those are. I found their web site and contacted them asking so that I could find out and I will pass it on as soon as I hear from them. Thanks for bringing this to my attention!

I took 24mg reg tobacco from Johnsons creek and put 7 to 10 drops of lorann's gourmet bubble gum flavor in it. smells just like bubble gum and the taste is just like Bazooka or hubba bubba bubble gum. The tobacco flavor that was origanal doesn't hinder the new flavor at all i think it adds to it!

Thanks for the link! This maybe a silly question but, why add dye? Why not just leave it as is & let those who want colors for iceings & such add food coloring themselves?

got this from e-cigforums.

I'm sure from the intent of your message, you mean 'do NOT now use diacetyl'...
Diacetyl is a food flavouring that causes lung disease when inhaled.
Inhaling Flavouring Chemicals
EDIT Oops ... I see what you mean, I'm sorry, LorAnn say they do not use diacetyl.
For what its worth its fom a respectable member. I ordered some vanilla butternut just now and then got freaked out. Looked around and came across that. Still looking, will let you know if I hear otherwise.

I'll be completely off nic as soon as this 11mg bottle is empty. I just purchased this afternoon about six different Lorann flavors, the small 3.7ml bottles. I first cut 12 drops of Piná Colada with 1ml of gyclerine and it produced more vapor than anything I have purchased premixed from TW. The taste was extremely good. I hope that when I am off nic, I'll still enjoy using my 901. There doesn't seem to be much of throat hit, but the 11mgs of nic isn't producing much either.
