Hi Alex I'm a bit new to all of this, so I have been reading up as much as possible. I'm looking to get the Mini e-cig and some liquid. The only thing I am unsure about is the strength of liquid to buy. I currently smoke 15 0.7mg cigs a day (about 10.5mg nicotine in total), but I've been told 30mls of liquid will refill about 200 carts, which only means 5.4mg nicotine per cart using the 36mg strength. Is this right? Could you advise what strength would be best for me? Thanks

Thanks The best advice I've seen is to take the nic rating of the cigarettes you smoke eg 0.5mg or 1.0mg and multiply by 20 eg 10mg and 20mg - then choose a liquid around that level. So a Silk Cut smoker would choose 11mg juice and a Benson and Hedges smoker 18mg or 24mg.

I would forget how many carts you will fill with 30ml liquid.
What you need to do is work out how much liquid you will use a day.
If you are topping off the carts you wont be vaping all the liquid in them.
The average user uses about 2ml liquid per day.
Some only use 1ml per day some use 4ml per day.
I dont think you should go anywhere near 36mg strength liquid unless you find you have to.
I think the 11mg strength would suit your needs much better, maybe even lower if you intend vaping more than 1ml liquid per day.

Hello....I do as keef said and vape very low mg strength 4-8mg but then I can vape 2-3ml a day which I prefer...I also have 18mg liquid so I can have a hit on a morning to help with the craving first thing....( a hit for me is dripping 2 drops onto the atomiser and that usually is about 1 cig)...then I start the low nic vape.... Each of us find our own way of doing things so it is a bit trial and error...

I totally agree with the advice given.
I tried stronger juices and for me they were just too strong, as I had been used to smoking 20 a day of a 1.1 strength, so I was in theory overdosing myself.
Like Moog, I use a strong juice, 18mg for that morning hit, and after that, 8 mg is more than ample, especially if you enjoy vaping and dont want to vape in the manner of smoking, which would be 10-15 draws and then put it down for 30mins or so.
The lower the nic content the more you can vape. Then, start to find your own levels.

<--- wishes she could vape low nicotine juices! I can just about get away with 18mg (vapes that strength constantly), otherwise it's 36 mg consistently... but then I smoked a good 30 a day full strength

I used to smoke 40 a day.
I started on 18mg I should really have started on 24mg but I decided if I could get away with the 18mg why go higher.
I now alternate between 11mg 14mg and 16mg it depends on the liquid and throat hit it gives.
Still trying to find something I can enjoy below 11mg.

Thanks everyone! All of the info has been very helpful. I'll start off with 11 & 18 and see how I go from there.
One more small question: Do all the flavours taste realistic or do they taste a bit artificial? Obviously different people have different tastes, but it is just to give me an idea.

In my limited experence, the flavor is really in the tase buds of the beholder. I quite enjoy the unflavored. I've played a bit with other juice mfg's, and rate the flavors from china as worst discribed, but not the worst. I really dis-like the mint and mint combos. And the tabbacce sauces seem quite a bit off for me. Cherrys, seem good and such. But, again, I think it is quite subjective...
