You can buy them directly from Lorann in the US

https://www.lorannoils.com/c-6-super-strength-flavors-candy-oils.aspx

Please be mindful of the ingredients (no oil or sugars), and just to reiterate, 'Lorann Oils' are mostly not oil based but glycerine based; this can be checked by clicking on the flavour name then looking at the details under that product description page.

how many drops can one expect from a dram ? also how powerful are these flavors(how many drops does it take to really be effective)

That really very much depends. (UK - one dram = 3.7ml).

The strengths vary, so for example, I find the peanut butter and the vanilla relatively 'weak' in flavour, that is, I need to add more drops than I do for other flavours. The tutti frutti and bubblegum flavours are very strong imo.

Also it's down to personal preference, some people prefer a stronger flavoured vape.

Also by 'drops' the standard is 25 drops per ml but some droppers produce larger droplet size Smiley

As a rule-of-thumb, approximately .3 to .5 of a ml of Lorann to 7ml unflavoured, and/but this will vary by flavour and preference. So I guess a whole bottle of Lorann should very easily flavour a 30ml bottle of eliquid

Hmmm...just dropped a dram of black walnut into 30ml of virginia and it's....GOOD! Pipped a dram of the mixture back into the teeny bottle and that'll go in the car along with some empty carts, the car charger and a spare platinum/batteries. Also mixed a 30ml bottle of virginia 50/50 with a 30ml bottle of menthol and...that's good too! Smiley

The menthol's for the better half and the walnut's for me. We started this lark on 17th December and haven't looked back...brilliant!

Jason, thanks for the instant delivery yet again Smiley

ps Is anyone else building up a bit of a knackered old batts/vaporisors graveyard? Seems a shame to dump them as they look so cool, lol.

Name: Uncle Darth's DarkSide Cured.

Mixture:
Using Lorann Oils.
1 drop Pistachio
1 drop Licorice(Black)
1 drop Black Walnut
1ml of 24mg flavorless fluid  70%PG  30%VG

Comments:
Slight Licorice overtone.
So far so good.
Really unleashes my DarkSide quite nicely. Kiss

This came to be when trying to find some flavors to make a bottle of JC Tennessee Cured taste like something I would actually want to vape Lips sealed.
When mixed with Tennessee Cured 50/50 it cures the nasty flavor, blends nicely. When mixed as directed it has a nice analogue feel. Licorice overtone disappears. Lot's of vapor. Solid hit. Craving gone.

If you do not have Tennessee Cured on hand it consists of caramel, vanilla, and some sort of tobacco flavor.  A drop each of caramel and vanilla might work, if you do not like the initial mix.

I do not recommend buying this flavor. Don't know what I was thinking buying 30ml of it.

Seems your only choice is Cinnamon Roll....... Only thing that bugs me is what is in there artificial flavoring.
Banana Creme has yellow 5 in it which is not to good to vape.... mutagenic and crap. Tasted good... but if I mutate later on.......errrrrrrrrhhh hopefully I mutate an extra new lung. Cheesy or extra brain capacity.
But the artificial part bugs me. Wonder if analogues are safer when you look in detail to that aspect.

Bickfords seems a better choice with them boasting it as being all natural. Gonna try some of them next.
They do have a water soluble Clove ..... assuming it's all natural.
http://www.bickfordflavors.com/item.asp?id=141&range=3

Little more expensive but bigger bottle.... supposedly safe to vape ingredients.

Cotton candy= horrible.  I mixed a small batch this morning and dumped it out after 1 cartridge.   Someone mentioned it tasted like cinnamon roll,  which I agree with although I origionally called it a apple crisp cake with a cinnamon taste.  Wasn't for me though.  I Do like blueberry and licorice.

Thanks Darth, I'll check Bickford's out as well. I just want to know what's in them, you know?.... Plumb.....mmmmmmm.

Damn, hypno. I love cotton candy, but not if it tastes like cinnamon. Afraid the Water of Life isn't my flavor. Well, at least my eyes won't turn blue.  Roll Eyes

This might sound gross, but has anyone ever tried mixing savory flavors?  Maybe something like parsley and lemongrass, or bayleaf?  Or, maybe even floral flavors like rose, lavendar, or violet?

Also, I'm new at this and have a couple of questions.   Huh  When mixing your own flavorings, are you supposed to add glycerin to the unflavored juice?   Also, should I use flavored oils to add flavor, or use water-based flavoring?  Thanks for anyone's help.  Smiley

Hi Dara

When I make a batch using Loranne flavourings, I use a flavourless nicotine, which you can cut with Glycerin & Distilled Water. So I take it you are asking if you can use Glycerin to make a non Nicotine batch is that right?

If you are, then you would need to make up Glycerin & Distilled water first, then add your flavouring. Distilled water is used to thin out the glycerin as it is a bit thick for the atomiser to cope with.

Dont be tempted to use anything other than water based flavourings, oils could be toxic, and would burn out your atomiser.

You can mix flavours. I tend to blend some of the heavier ones in with tobacco flavours.

I bought the champagne flavoring from TW.

1mL 36-mg juice
1mL glycerine
~8 gtts champagne

Gives a nice smooth, subtly sweet flavor.

When I was buying my glycerine from Hobby Lobby, I noticed that they sell a few of LorAnn Flavours.  I picked up the English Toffee [quite yummy] and Butter Rum [which I haven't tried yet].

Just made a really nice mix today, something like ry04. the flavor base was:

4 drops English Toffee
4 drops Vanilla Butternut
2 drops Caramel
2 drops Cinnamon Roll

I wasn't being really scientific with it, I added a couple droppers of 36mg flavorless, then about 1.5x as much VG to bring it to about 11mg. Really nice stuff, if you're in the mood for a dessert vape. All of the flavors seem to like eachother, and I'm not getting the burnt taste that I was on my previous attempts with caramel. I'd give myself a 4/5 for this one.

MENTHOL

Ok I have made my own mix of this, using my left over 11mg x 15ml of TW Menthol. (in the hopes of making it go further)
I initially did a 50 – 50 cut with Glycerine an Water ( I used tap water as here in Cornwall our water is so soft it can be used in car batteries, )  anyway after mixing I felt the mix was too runny so I added 4ml more of Glycerine.

The result for me was a menthol that is smooth and cool to taste not overpowering and vapes well in the 901 & Titan equally, but does taste better with the 901 (wonder why?)
In fact it reminded me very strongly of my favourite cigarette St Moritz which I had to give due the cost, so I am delighted. Grin

Hi Moog,

Not sure what the proportions are, because it's a mix of 2 previous mixes, but there's 36mg TW unflavoured, VG, PG & Lorann Chocolate & Hazelnut & Lorann Cranberry in it.

Just like vaping a fruit & nut bar

Okay...
I love chocolate and hazelnut stuff..
I can eat Nutella by the bucket-load. I've had choc&hazelnut syrup in coffee.. It's extremely scrummy.

So, I bought some LorAnne choc&hazelnut for vaping. Before I vaped it, I added a few drops to a cup of coffee and thoroughly enjoyed it.
I added a tiny drop to some TW unflavoured 36mg (which I bought as a base-juice) and when I finally came to try it... Ugh... The first puff tasted like vinegar. Then the next puff didn't, but tasted horrid. Nothing like choc/hazelnut.
I had a few more puffs and decided I didn't like it. I put the Titan down and picked it up again a little later... First puff... Vinegar ! Then... no vinegar but not choc/hazelnut... this went on for a while until I'd finally vaped my atty dry.
My wife was having a shower at the time and when she came out of the bathroom she said she could smell something not nice. She said it was a little like incense. This is the first time she's actually said that she could smell something from my vaping.

I don't know what I did wrong. The coffee and the rootbeer that I mixed up in the same session both worked very well but the dreadful taste of the choc/hazelnut one was almost enough to put me off vaping... especially as it hung around on the atty for a while. I sent Mum some too, so it will be interesting to see what she says when she tries it. Luckily, I only mixed up a tiny amount. Enough for about 4 cart refills and rather than topping off a cart with it, I dripped. I'm glad I did. I'd hate to have to wash out a cart and atty because I'd messed up by putting a boggin' flavour in my Titan.

Having read in this thread that the taste was exactly as I would have expected, I'm almost tempted to try mixing up another batch to see if I get it right this time.

Did anyone else notice a vinegar taste from the Chocolate and Hazelnut LorAnn ?

Just a quickie DIY flavour Smiley

Try mixing the following - (then use larger proportions if you like the mix).

For this I'm using :  Boots Glycerin B.P. 97p; TW State Express 36mg and RY4 18mg from www.ecigsoutlet.co.uk, and a touch or two of vodka or distilled water.

Add four drops of State Express, Two Drops Glycerin, Two drops RY4 and a couple of drops of vodka or water (till it gets to correct consistency)..   Now try that!!

The vapour is so thick n creamy, it's like smoking whipped cream.  The taste is...... completely indescribable.... Throat hit is simply perfect...  God is dancing on my tastebuds!!!

If you aren't keen on overly sweet e_juice then substitute the State Express for B&H or Marl or Virginia... But for me, this mix is better than any cigarette, cigar, pipe or anything tobacco related.....

So I received all my Lorann flavors the other day, finally got a chance to play mad chemist tonight.  I came up with what came out to be a really good butterscotch flavor for a Titan.  The flavor is a bit overpowering in a DSE901 though, so I would only recommend this for the Titan (or another flavor-neutralizing PV).  This is also very butterscotch-y, so beware. Wink  I have a huge sweet tooth so it was perfect.

I was shooting for 24mg in strength, I think my math was fairly close.  Had a very, very rich, butterscotch flavor with a ton of very thick, smoke-like vapor both visually as well as mouth-feel.  It has a good throat hit, plus was very smooth on the throat going down.  I liked it so much I whipped up a 30ml bottle of it. Smiley

20 parts 36mg Flavorless E-Juice
2 part LorAnn Butter Flavor
6 parts LorAnn Butterscotch Flavor
5 parts Glycerin
1 part Premium Vodka

I think I'm going to have fun with these flavorings.. Smiley
