They have a use by date of about 2 years, if thats any help, and I'd imagine the nicotine would make a pretty good preservative. OTOH, once they are opened, they will soak up water vapour from the air, and I doubt that would do a lot of good.

I'm a chemist and used to take part in setting expiration dates for various compounds, and expiration dates are always (at least in this country) a worst-case scenario storage situation, then they subtract a few months for unknowns.
It's been my experience that expiration dates can minimally be doubled with only minor changes to the substance, as long as optimal storage conditions are used. In this case, that means the colder the storage, the better (don't put glass bottles in the freezer though, they will likely expand and burst--not good!) Keeping it in the dark is also a good idea. So, if I had bottles of it around, I'd put them in a small box and keep in the refrigerator.
By the way, although I am a chemist and a user of nicotine, please don't take that to mean that I consider myself any sort of an authority on this particular molecule, as I've never done formal research on it, I just looked up some of the properties of it in my Merck Manual.

I thought it was sunlight that caused the JC problem ?.

TBH, I stopped following the thread after a while, but one possible cause mentioned was the stuff being exposed to sub zero temps while in transit .Certainly some people with problems were storing it in fridges, which would seem to rule out sunlight.

Just was about to use my cherry JC sampler and found it was green......I assume these aren't safe to vape? The vanilla ice cream is bright pink.....I bought them from USA and cost me a lot....they were the NPG samplers...

Well, having drudged through the ECF forum, the consensus seems to be that no one has had unpleasant side effects from it.... I don't think I'd risk it myself tho
