Do the fun police normally take this long?

« on: March 26, 2009, 03:19:09 PM »

Ok, so I need some advice!

I originally bought some green tea, but it gave me a bit of a headache and made me generally befuddled, I don't know whether that's just me or what.. So I thought I'd try some unflavoured just to see whether I can get on with TW liquid in general, and happily I don't get any unusual symptoms from it at all.

I would keep using the unflavoured, but it hasn't got much of a throat hit and is getting a bit boring.. I think my next purchase will be a tobacco - not sure I'm cut out for the sweet flavours.

Now I'm trying to work out which to go for:

Hilton
M/Boro
Tobacco
Virginia
French pipe
State Express

I used to smoke roll-ups generally (cutters choice)..

If you were stuck on a desert island with a bucket containing only one TW tobacco flavour - what flavour/strength would it be?

I quite enjoy the virginia, however it is also the only one I've tried Tongue
State express seems to be wildly popular, so that may be worth a go

Wasn't over keen on the TW Virginia but the State Express is good. At 36mg gives a good hit, the taste is quite nutty. The Hilton is also rather nice (not wrote a review on this one), this was only 11mg but something a little stronger should give you that hit. I've had a sample of Tobacco (not too sure where this was from, possibly TW) this was 24mg and gave a good hit but didn;t taste as good as the Hilton.

Maybe consider the British Bull Dog from e-cigs, for me this wins hands down. Just ordered a 50ml bottle of the stuff today.

Sorry, this post probably isn't very useful!

State Express is bloody lovely, I was hooked the minute I got the sample to try for the panel. It's one of those flavours I could not allow myself to run out of! The smell is out of this world, the only question is, how much you like the smell of caramel and roast nuts. At first i went with it being solely a peanut smell but over time I've found I can smell cashews in there somewhere too...

In case you haven't come across this... http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=107.0 is a good Hilton review Smiley

I love caramel and nuts.. the word caramel has me a bit worried though - only because of my headache experience with green tea.. wonder if they share ingredients..

It's not strong, just a litle sweetness. I haven't tried green tea so I have no idea what your experience was, do share!!!!!

Well, dunno what caused it.. but the green tea gave me headaches and made me feel a bit daft! - I stood in the kitchen the other day for five minutes trying to remember what macaroni was called!

Then I tried unflavoured for a bit to see if it had the same affect - but it was fine. Maybe I'm allergic to something in the Green Tea..

My bottle arrived today.. Its quite nice, but first impression is that it might be a bit sweet for me. I'm going to vape it for a week or so and see if I get used to it..

If this is the case then i wouldn't recommend State Express as this is much sweeter. Not too sure how i would describe the BB (not good with the tobacco flavours) maybe i'll do a review of it. For me tho it does tick all boxes, its got a good taste to it, produces good vapour and i'm finding at 24mg its just right for me.

SamK I mainly smoked Drum rolling tobacco, ocasonly got a pouch of BaliShag. Then moved to Camel lights, hoping having a filter would help me out a bit with coughing up crap in the mornings. I like to vape Camel from TW and 5*5*5 and Riskee Yuice from Puresmoker.com Riskee Yuice is about as sweet as I can go.
