From replies in another thread, I think it's available in most pharmacies, but you have to ask for it.

you need 99.5% pure glycerin, or glycerol (same stuff, different name) If its in a pharmacy, the purity should be a given, so just ask for glycerin or glycerol, and double check the bottle before you pay Tongue

Got my 99.5 glycerin at one of the supermarket pharmacies, but you have to ask for it as it is behind the counter (huh?).

Also natural supply places have that as well as the PG pretty cheap.  If you are in Seattle (they might be a chain, but I doubt it) try Zenith Supplies, north of the U district a bit.

I've also heard that you can find the VG food grade in the supermarket in the cake making supplies isle, used somehow in decorating.

That really made my day man!!!  I'm glad I was of help to ya!  I'm still learning this E-Cig thing myself.  Most of my experiences came from IGetch69 and Ritalee!  Thanks to those two, I've got some knowledge now.  Smiley

If there's anything else I can do for ya, let me know!

I bought some from there. Not sure about using it. Used a little already, and afterwards, read somewhere it is not exactly pure. Wilton seems inconsistent in the way they manufacture it supposedly. Sometimes there's some synthetic crap in it. Alright to eat unsure about vaping it. I have it off to the side, until I can find out further about it. But yeah it tasted/vaped alright. It's hard to tell what is the truth here and on the net. Got to take everything with a grain of salt and use some good judgment.  Wink

The main reason I quit smoking anal-logs was all the chemicals and tar. Don't plan on doing any further harm to my body with new chemicals that are unsafe, or unknown ingredients and unknown effects on the realm of vaping.

Think I am gonna go the medical grade route and get some med grade propylene to go along with it. Just to be safe. I feel better seeing the purity stamped on the bottle.

Can anybody enlighten me of the purity of Wilton's glycerin?

UPDATED I ended up getting USP Glycerin and PG both pharm grade, from a mail order company called JuicyLiquid. Good stuff.

i can't imagine it being that unsafe to vape if you can eat it right out of the bottle.

Why not take a pic of your atomizer glowing FIREWIRE. It's made of wire. Hold it up to a fan to get some wind in the battery and take the pic. Not sure how you can manipulate the pic at all though.

Woo hoo!  THANK YOU, all!  I've been trying to figure out where to get glycerin here in the states.  So far I've only been able to find the laxative kind too.  Off to Michael's!
